Amy Hall is a singer/songwriter based in Seattle, WA. It's no secret that her meloncholic yet energized indie folk sound and introspective lyrics will tug on your heartstrings. Amy offers her point of view on self reliance, love, and personhood with sheer vulnerability, passion, and grit.

Daniel Pak
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, CO-FOUNDER
Daniel Pak, originally from O`ahu, is a singer, songwriter, producer, nonprofit executive, and arts and culture champion. As frontman for Kore Ionz from 2008-2018, Pak shared the stage with The Wailers, Toots and the Maytals, Steel Pulse, and many of reggae’s greatest artists.

Born in Seattle, Greg fell in love with music at a gospel concert when he was just ten years old. “I knew then what I wanted to do with my life.”

Matt Sablan
ARTIST MENTOR
Sabyu (SAH-byoo) is a singer-songwriter, musician, and producer from the island of Saipan. He started learning guitar at the age of 12 and picked up other instruments along the way such as ukulele, bass guitar, drum kit, cajón, piano, and more. As an artist mentor and producer at Totem Star, Sabyu creates music to bring all walks of life together in the name of love, spirit, and humanity.

Mirabai Kukathas
ARTIST MENTOR, FUNDRAISING & DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Mirabai Kukathas is a Seattle-based folk singer/songwriter, Her songs are characterized by clever lyrics, lush vocal harmonies, and a refreshing blend of irony & sincerity. Mirabai imbues each piece of work with an honesty that is equal parts hilarious, heartbreaking, & hopeful. Bask in the absurdity.

Thaddeus Turner
ARTIST MENTOR, CO-FOUNDER
With over 20 years of touring experience under his belt, Seattle native Thaddeus Turner is no stranger to the road. Currently music director for the Grammy award-winning Digable Planets. As lead guitarist of Maktub having toured with the likes of Lauryn Hill, Dave Matthews, India Arie, and Stone Gossard, Turner has received glowing praise from Rolling Stone, NPR, and The Seattle Times. Turner is also a resident at Sea Monster Lounge.
