Michelle Tran

Board Treasurer / Finance Committee Chair

Growing up in the West Seattle area, Michelle has ties and roots so close to where Totem Star is currently located. She has an accounting background and is also a CPA. Michelle currently supports the Finance function at Starbucks, but previously specialized in accounting for investments, derivatives & hedging, and debt transactions. She is also a proud member of the Starbucks Finance I&D Squad, where she works closely with leadership to continue to make I&D a part of the everyday. Outside of work, Michelle likes to run, travel, and try new local restaurants (shoutout to Local Tide and Musang as her current favorites!) 

With a passion for music, she was thrilled to be considered for this opportunity to join the board. Not only because of her love for music, but most importantly because of what Totem Star is doing to empower the youth from the community she grew up in. Being a part of an organization that brings so much light and support for the youth continues to inspire her each day!
