All Access Fridays featuring Sharmaine
Friday, October 26, 2018 // 4-6pm // Youngstown Cultural Arts Center

For the eleventh installment of All Access Fridays, Sharmaine will be leading a Songwriting Workshop to help you create ideas for your own original tunes.

Sharmaine is a Singer/songwriter from Seattle, WA. She is from South Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood. Sharmaine has been singing since she was about seven years old. She would always be involved in school choir activities and talent shows and even got the chance to perform a rendition of Minnie Riperton's "Loving You" for the Seattle Public School board member Betty Patu at The Royal Room in Columbia City. Sharmaine started becoming more active in the industry when she joined the summer program The Residency, a program created for youth by Seattle's Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Arts Corps, and MoPOP. Not too long after, she started getting involved with Totem Star. Sharmaine released her first single "Vibrant" in the summer of 2017. A few months after, she released her second single "Burning Bridges." She is ambitious and has a drive to inspire and take the world by storm with her raspy, angelic and soulful voice. Check out her latest single, “Home.”
